Lead the Physical Security and IT Division for the California State University, Sacramento Police Department, overseeing technical staff and managing a broad portfolio of enterprise safety and security technologies supporting campus operations. Responsible for the administration, lifecycle management, and operational reliability of critical campus technology systems. Emergency notification system, surveillance systems, emergency phone infrastructure, alarm systems, body-worn cameras, in-vehicle video systems, and police dispatch hardware and software. Provide leadership in technology planning, vendor coordination, policy development, and system implementation while ensuring compliance with university, state, and federal requirements. Regularly collaborate with campus leadership, IT partners, and external departments and vendors to evaluate and deploy new technologies, support investigations, and contribute to hiring panels, HR investigations, and operational policy revisions. Recognized for collaborative leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to coordinate complex technology services across diverse environments.

Serve as the Administration and Business Affairs Division representative on the campus IT Steering Committee at California State University, Sacramento, collaborating with campus technology leadership to evaluate, prioritize and guide division-wide information technology initiatives. Represent a broad portfolio of departments, including the President’s Office, Budget and Planning, Business and Administrative Services, Human Resources, Facilities Management, Financial Services, Risk Management Services, and the Police Department - Assess technology needs, align projects with institutional priorities, and facilitate cross-department coordination. Contribute to strategic technology planning, project prioritization, change control and governance processes that support reliable, scalable, and service-oriented IT solutions across the university.

Serve as the Primary Records and Documentation Unit Leader for the California State University, Sacramento, Emergency Operations Center during EOC activations. Responsible for managing incident documentation and information records in accordance with Incident Command System (ICS) and emergency management standards and protocol. Oversee the collection, organization, and preservation of operational records, situation reports, and incident documentation to support decision-making, operational coordination, and post-incident analysis. Ensure accurate documentation of emergency response activities, maintain official records for compliance and reporting requirements, and coordinate with command staff and operational units to support situational awareness and continuity of operations during campus emergency events.

Managed multiple highly complex, large-scale projects exceeding $10M in total value, directing cross-functional teams of 5–20+ personnel across technical and operational units. Served on special assignment supporting Administration and Business Affairs and Police Department/Public Safety initiatives, coordinating stakeholders, vendors, and internal IT resources to deliver enterprise technology projects. Project portfolio included student success initiatives, CMS/PeopleSoft implementations and enhancements, application integrations, and institutional IT process improvements, with responsibility for project planning, requirements analysis, training, stakeholder coordination, and delivery of systems supporting university operations

Installed, maintained, and supported campus-wide technology systems in collaboration with campus IT, facilities, and operational departments, including security camera networks, alarm systems, emergency communication systems, and specialized law-enforcement technology platforms. Conducted technology and security assessments for campus and auxiliary facilities, coordinated with multiple vendors and university stakeholders, and contributed to system implementation, documentation, and operational support processes. This role required frequent collaboration across departments to ensure reliable technology services, effective user support, and consistent system standards within a complex university environment
