ServiceNow Dashboard Deployment
Medium Project, 50+ Resource Hours
Department Improvement Project
Activated: 2024 Completed: 2024

Quarterly Emergency Phone Testing
Large Ongoing Project with No End Date
Campus Security Imperative Project

Spearheaded the proposal, design, and implementation of ServiceNow acceptance and utilization within the police department to standardize project tracking, workload management, and technical support processes. Independently identified the operational need for a centralized ticketing and workflow system and led the initiative from concept through deployment. Deployed a ServiceNow dashboard for departmental technical teams to manage assignments, monitor project status, receive requests and improve operational visibility and collaboration.

Developed multiple public-facing service request forms to streamline submissions related to maintenance, installation, and support of police specific technology systems. Coordinated closely with campus Information Resources & Technology staff during deployment (who made this possible), trained technical staff on internal ticket management workflows, and provided guidance to division stakeholders on the new request process. Updated public-facing department websites to provide direct access to support services. The implementation significantly improved workflow organization, service request intake, and overall operational efficiency for the department’s technology support services.

Plan, coordinate, and execute scheduled campus-wide emergency phone testing to verify operational readiness of critical life-safety communication systems used by students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Develop testing schedules, communicate with campus stakeholders, and systematically test devices to ensure proper functionality and connectivity with emergency response systems. Document results, identify malfunctions, coordinate repairs, and track remediation to maintain reliability of safety infrastructure and reduce institutional risk associated with non-functioning emergency equipment.

Art Sculpture Lab New Construction
Small/Medium Project, 75+ Resource Hours
Campus Security Imperative Project
Activated: 2023 Completed: 2024

During the planning and construction phases of a $19.3M, 20,000 GSF academic facility, independently led the development and implementation of the building’s physical security technology plan on behalf of the University Police Department. Worked closely with construction vendors, architects, facilities teams, campus IT resources, and external technology providers to design and deploy integrated security systems aligned with university standards and operational requirements.

Responsibilities included system specification, infrastructure planning, and coordination of installation for full perimeter and entry/exit surveillance using enterprise-grade Axis camera systems and emergency communication infrastructure. Ensured successful integration of these systems into campus operations while maintaining compliance with institutional security policies and long-term technology strategies.

Parking Structure One Project
Medium Project, 100+ Resource Hours
Campus Security Imperative Project
Activated: 2020 Completed: 2020

Independently managed the retrofit and modernization of the surveillance system in Parking Structure One, replacing an outdated camera infrastructure with current-generation equipment. Identified compatibility challenges with legacy hardware and mounting systems, conducted independent technical and cost analysis of multiple solutions.

Recommended and implemented a custom-fabricated mounting solution that preserved existing infrastructure and reduced project costs by approximately $5,000–$10,000. Coordinated closely with Environmental Health & Safety, Risk Management and Facilities Management to expand the project scope, enabling installation of additional exterior camera coverage to improve security monitoring of the parking structure and surrounding areas.

Dispatch Work Station Refresh
Small Project, 40+ Resource Hours
Department Improvement Project
Completed 2023

Oversaw the modernization of the Police Department dispatch workstations through the implementation of ergonomic sit-stand desk solutions designed for continuous, multi-user operational environments.

Managed the refresh of workstation technology including deployment of new desktop computers, monitors, and supporting hardware. Coordinated removal of outdated cabling, legacy equipment, and workspace debris to improve reliability and organization of the dispatch environment. Worked closely with dispatch personnel, vendors, and technical staff to schedule and complete installations with minimal disruption to critical operations while securing long-term warranty coverage and vendor support for upgraded equipment.

Intramural Field Upgrades
Small Project, 25+ Resource Hours
Campus Security Imperative Project

Led development of physical security technology plans during the planning phase of a $15.7 million upgrade to campus athletic facilities, including the tennis courts, varsity softball field, and soccer field areas. Represented the University Police Department in assessing security considerations associated with the upgraded lighting, pathways, and perimeter fencing.

Independently designed and recommended surveillance coverage using Axis camera systems to enhance safety across high-traffic areas, public pathways, and equipment storage locations. Collaborated with campus stakeholders to ensure proposed security infrastructure aligned with operational requirements and integrated with existing campus systems.

Heart of Campus Project
Small/Medium Project, 50+ Resource Hours
Campus Security Imperative Project
Completed: 2020

Managed a project supporting the university’s compliance with the Clery Act, which requires institutions to publicly report crime data and provide victim support resources to the community. Coordinated technical teams to design and implement a Campus Security Authority (CSA) tracking system within CMS, including a communication platform for direct engagement with CSA personnel, record-keeping processes meeting seven-year retention requirements, and workflows for managing and deactivating inactive CSA records. Oversaw development of batch upload capabilities for CSA lists and creation of knowledge-base documentation to support ongoing system use. The project required continuous collaboration with technical teams, campus stakeholders, and legal representatives to ensure the solution aligned with evolving regulatory requirements and institutional needs.
